The valley view made the stay pleasant, and Mr Ajay, the property owner, helped make the whole visit fabulous. A humble family of caretakers took great care of the place and tried to ensure guests had an excellent experience. The amenities list is big: there’s a dedicated room with 4-5 board games and carrom, spacious bedrooms that fit a family of 3/4 per bedroom, a large living room with a Bluetooth music system, and a well-equipped kitchen with necessary cutlery and dining options. Barbecue and bonfire are available on request for additional material charges, but the experience is worth it. Each bedroom has a terrace with a scenic view. Cleanliness and hygiene: 5*. Food quality: 5*, with more of a homely touch. Care takers: 5*. We had a fantastic time and will definitely visit again.

The bedroom views are good, and the large LG music speaker connects easily over Bluetooth, which worked really well for our group to play music and dance. Utensils were available, and one room has a romantic bathroom. The terrace windows are suitable for kids, and extra mattresses and pillows were easy to get. The caretaker service could be better. There’s no washing machine, and drinking water wasn’t readily available. We had to ask for it repeatedly.

The caretaker couple made good food for us; we just had to buy the ingredients at the market. The balcony shared by the two upstairs rooms has an amazing view.

We had a good time overall, and I’d recommend this bungalow for a group. The first-floor bedroom balconies are large and have great views, the Wi-Fi works very well, and there’s parking for three or four cars. Hot water comes quickly from the solar heater, even at different times of day. The caretaker couple were very helpful, cooked good vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, and were always cheerful about our requests. The music system also made it easy to get a party going. The three-bedroom place in Panchgani suits a group of around 15. The road to the villa is in poor condition, though there’s a longer, somewhat better alternative route. The jacuzzi, which could have been fun for kids, wasn’t working. The living room is fine if you don’t plan to spend much time there, but it may feel small if 15 people want to celebrate together.
