What stood out was how kind Kaka, kaki, and baba were. We felt like guests at a relative’s home, and they even helped us switch from the room I’d booked by mistake to a larger one at the same rate, so our family of four could be comfortable. They trusted us to pay at checkout, with no pressure to pay earlier. The rooms were clean, furnished, and well maintained, and the washroom and toilet were clean too. There’s plenty of parking. We really liked Anjali lodge malvan for its home-like feel and clean, friendly atmosphere. A note about the restaurant right beside it, MALVANI MEJVANI: I found the surroundings very dirty, the prices high, portions small, and the food terrible. Please skip it. The market has a range of restaurants with better taste and prices.

The owners are polite, understanding, and helpful with guidance. The rooms are clean, and there are lots of trees around the quiet, green property. Chivla beach and Rock garden are walkable, though the walk may be tiring if you’re with elderly people. I’d recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

This was my second visit, and Anjali Lodge made a lovely base for seeing nearby places such as Rock Garden, Sindhudurg, Devbagh, and Dhamapur. The rooms are clean and feel safe, with reasonable prices. The owners are humble and helpful, offering itinerary ideas, food suggestions, and local travel guidance. If you’re interested in history and culture, Kudopi Katalshilpa is worth the short trek. You may want a local guide, or the owners can suggest an auto driver uncle to take you there.

There was plenty of room, and everything was clean. The place itself is beautiful, and the staff were cooperative throughout, with useful suggestions and directions for places to visit. The hospitality was lovely.
