The bed was very comfortable, and I felt safe and at ease there, both during three weeks on my own and another three weeks with my boyfriend. We ended up staying for about a month because we liked it so much. It was peaceful, even though we did meet some other people. The place is very clean, with a beautiful room and bathroom for a great price. Hot water was available, and there’s a balcony where you can sit. I thought it looked even better in person than in the photos. There’s a TV too. The mountain view from the balcony door was lovely, and the street is quiet while still being very close to the centre. There weren’t many people around, but there’s a phone number and they answer almost immediately. You can call if you need anything, including from the phone in the room. Reception was also well covered. One receptionist was usually in the room next to reception with the door open, while the other was reachable by phone. When we couldn’t understand each other, he came over in a few minutes to speak in person. Cleaning can be arranged for the next day by calling, usually around 11 in the morning, though you can ask if another time might work. The cleaners don’t have keys, so they knock and ring. If you’re out or don’t answer, they can’t clean the room, but you could ask them to come earlier or later. We could get clean towels or bedsheets whenever we needed, without an extra charge. One small issue: the blankets could have been washed more often, though it was monsoon time and we stayed a long while. When we asked for replacements, they did their best to give us the best they had. The receptionist was very willing to help. It’s a great place for couples or someone on their own. Highly recommended!

It’s an easy walk to mall road, and the prices are very affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are good and you get a nice mountain view, but the map location is way off. Ask locals for directions and they’ll guide you.
