Fabhotel Shandela

The food was so oily, and tasted like it had artificial flavors. We could barely manage a few bites. I told them early that I was checking out, but nobody came to help with my luggage, so I had to carry it myself down from the 5th floor. The staff acted caring, but seemed to be waiting for payment. The service was the worst I’ve experienced, and I’d never recommend this hotel. Don’t waste your money here.

Checkout was a hassle, too. For a double room, they gave us just one towel and one pair of slippers, and we had to remind them multiple times about the slippers. The washroom wasn’t up to standard, and the toilet jet wasn’t working properly. We told them that evening, but nobody came by the next morning. The receptionist said nothing could be done because the plumber wasn’t available. Very bad experience and pathetic service.

The hotel is a short walk from the mall, with shops and restaurants nearby. I was very happy with the room and the customer support, and the location and service were excellent. Definitely recommend it.

The location felt very cramped, with another property right outside where you could easily lean out. The furniture was old, the rooms felt stuffy, and the toilet cover wasn’t fixed. The toilet wasn’t clean either, and the bedsheet smelled. A third-rate hotel.
