Hotel Blue Heaven

The scenery here is beautiful, and the comfort and hospitality make it one of my best stays in Manali.

Classy, super clean room, with the best view. Budget friendly, too.

The hotel’s prime location is its one saving grace. I wouldn’t choose it otherwise, especially for the 11k I paid for three nights. The bathroom was clean, but there was only a tiny bar of soap. When we asked for other bathroom amenities, we were told they weren’t provided. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that didn’t provide them. There was no room or dustbin cleaning, and no complimentary water bottles, one per room. Power cuts happened often, and the single emergency light in the room only worked somewhat. Some rooms had no hangers, and the cupboard was dingy. My bed was hard, with so little padding that the springs poked my back. The rooms were cold and dingy, without a heater. Room maintenance service was nonexistent, and staff behavior was rude.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the rooms were really nice. This hotel is on Mall Road and is budget friendly. Staff were cool and nice, and quick to respond whenever we asked for something. We had a wonderful trip, and I’d definitely stay here next time. It was more than just “ok ok.”
