For a straightforward, warm base in Manali, Hotel Ibex is a good budget option. It's a simple 2-star place with a relaxed, informal feel that can suit backpackers or families wanting convenience and value. Mall Road is close by, with shops, restaurants, and transport links easy to reach without a long commute. Rooms have a warm, rustic style, and some have pleasant mountain views. There's also a vegetarian restaurant on site for quick, reliable meals.

Great location and rates much lower than other hotels in the mall. The rooms are comfortable and keep you warm when it's cold outside. The staff were very well-mannered and helpful. They guided us and took special care of us while we sat at reception after checkout. I'd definitely recommend it.

Everything is right outside, with the hotel on Mall Road and near the Volvo bus stand. The hotel also has its own shopping complex, where you can get what's available along Mall Road. Food is made on the spot, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner are very tasty and fresh compared with other outlets. You can rent a scooty or bike here too. The staff are friendly. I'd recommend staying here if you can't spend a lot. Five stars from me.

Had a great time at ibex bar with my friends. The food was good quality and the bar prices felt genuine. @anjli, Shivani and Meera were all really friendly. We had so much fun.
