Staff were polite and ready to help with room service or local sightseeing advice, and housekeeping kept the rooms tidy every day. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with proper heating, which was a big plus in the cold. The mountain views made mornings and evenings feel refreshing. Food was delicious too: breakfast had a good variety, and dinner was fresh and well prepared. Thanks to the kitchen team for the quality and hygiene. It was a peaceful, comfortable stay and good value for money. I'd recommend it to families, couples, and anyone visiting Manali, and would stay again. My only suggestion is to add more staff.

The local staff were polite and tried their best, but they seemed to have no authority or resources to handle guests' needs. Communication had to go through the management team in Gurgaon, and even simple requests became difficult. On the first night I called the Gurgaon manager to ask about ordering dinner, although we'd initially said we wouldn't. She agreed and took the order, but after more than an hour nothing was ready. Dishes arrived one by one, without rotis or rice, and then we waited over 20 minutes each time for just a few rotis. When I complained, the manager said we'd refused dinner earlier, while the local staff said the chef wasn't available. It was chaos. We were ten adults and four children, including senior citizens, staying three days at The Ireland, Manali, and the problems began on day one. I asked for a firm extra mattress for my mother because of her back pain. Local staff clearly said it wouldn't cost extra since there was no extra guest, but checkout came with a charge, supposedly for washing. With five rooms booked for three days, that could easily have been handled within the booking. Power cuts made things worse. We had no electricity from midnight to 6 AM on day one, and again from 6 PM to 8 PM on day two. Nearby hotels had backup power, but this hotel's inverter or generator wasn't working. Also, three of the five rooms didn't have bathroom exhaust fans, which is unacceptable. The property may look fine, but poor management, lack of coordination, and inadequate facilities made the whole stay stressful and uncomfortable.

I booked Hotel Ireland through Goibibo for 23rd January-25th January, but heavy snowfall blocked the roads on 23rd January and we couldn't reach the hotel. My first call from my own number wasn't answered. When I called from a different number, they picked up straight away. They said the roads were blocked and that we wouldn't be able to reach Manali the next day either. I asked for a refund and they told me to contact GoIbibo. GoIbibo said they'd emailed the hotel asking it to accept the refund, but the hotel hadn't replied. More than ten days later, I still hadn't heard back from either GoIbibo or Hotel Ireland. How could anyone be expected to travel during a natural disaster with 2-3 feet of snow blocking the roads? A very bad experience with both the hotel and Goibibo.

The blankets, including the extra ones, were dirty, and the slippers were poor quality. Wi-Fi didn't work, service was unsatisfactory, and the food wasn't worth the high price. The facilities and service at Hotel Ireland in Manali were disappointing overall. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

During my two-day stay, the blanket was filthy and smelled bad, and there wasn't a proper supply of hot water in the bitter cold. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all, as if it had only been set up for show, and the lights were a problem too. I didn't like the staff's or owner's attitude, and the service wasn't proper. The owner needs to improve the hotel's management and attitude to attract customers. Staying here was my worst decision, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even in a bad situation.
