Hotel President

The food was tasty and the quality was perfect. The staff were great and the vibe was friendly. I loved staying here, and it made for a memorable trip. I'd recommend others come stay too.

We booked three rooms at The President Hotel, Manali for 10th January to 13th January 2026, and the stay was stressful and completely unsatisfactory. The staff were rude and unprofessional, even using inappropriate language with guests. Their behavior showed a lack of basic hospitality training. Cleanliness was extremely poor. The rooms were dirty, housekeeping only came after repeated requests, and even pillow covers weren't changed. The washroom geysers also didn't work properly, which was especially inconvenient in winter. We had to pay extra for room heaters despite Manali's cold weather, and even after paying, they didn't work properly. Management showed no concern about our complaints and wouldn't listen or resolve the problems. It felt like a complete waste of money. Worst experience. I strongly don't recommend The President Hotel to anyone visiting Manali. There are far better places that provide basic comfort and cleanliness and respect their guests. Avoid this hotel.

In Manali's weather, you won't get a hot water kettle or even packaged drinking water. If you're heading to Rohtang Pass early, nobody will open the hotel door, and there's no breakfast package.

We stayed for two days and had a horrible experience. The bathroom was dirty, the geyser didn't work properly, and they wouldn't even provide towels or a bottle of water. There's no restaurant of their own, and the hotel has no facilities to speak of. Nobody should stay here.
