A balcony looking out at snow-covered mountains, with the river sounding away on the other side, made for an incredible view. At Leela Cottages, Manali, the rooms were roomy, luxurious, and had all the comforts we wanted for a mountain break. I absolutely loved the stay and would recommend it to anyone heading to Old Manali.

A cozy fireplace and a kitchen with everything we needed made the cottage feel comfortable and charming. It was also well placed for exploring nearby trails and attractions.

Even though we came in the off-season, the staff were always available to help, and the owner helped us a lot too. The chef made delicious food, and the price felt low for the excellent service. Our spacious room had a balcony, a good bathroom, and antique-style furniture. Through its windows we could clearly see the snow-covered mountains and Jogini falls. The attic room, with its wooden paneling, stayed warm. We had an awesome experience.

Goshal village is beautiful, up in Northern Manali. I especially liked the rooms and the views from the cottage, and the east-facing rooms seem to have the best outlook. Food quality and choice were good, and the professional staff provided impressive service. Parking and reception could use some improvement, but I had a good stay overall, so I’m giving it five stars.
