Moustache Manali

I booked this well ahead for our first anniversary, but the hotel cancelled at the last minute without a proper explanation or another arrangement. It was a special occasion, and the cancellation caused a lot of avoidable stress and threw off our plans. That felt unprofessional and showed poor commitment to customers. I wouldn’t trust this hotel with an important event.

The trip was badly spoiled by this stay. The property was hard to reach, and once we arrived they kept us waiting for hours to check in. At checkout they called us and spoke rudely. The room photos were misleading, the rooms were dirty, and there was no hygiene. Basic amenities weren’t provided, and the staff were rude with poor service. Food cost a lot, and they wanted Rs. 800 per day for a small blower, while other Manali properties provide a heater or central heating. Don’t waste your money here. Book a budget hotel instead if you don’t want your trip ruined. Booking this was my biggest mistake. Worst experience, not recommended.

The café staff deserve a special mention, especially Pankaj Sharma and Natr. They were warm, attentive, and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. The café food was fresh, delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and consistently good, with a nice variety. Moustache Manali itself was comfortable and well maintained, with a great vibe that suited the beauty of Manali. It felt like a home away from home. Thanks to the whole team for a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

The breakfast choices, quality, and service didn’t feel worth the price. The views and interiors also weren’t what the pictures led me to expect. For this amount, I’d pick somewhere more scenic, or spend a little more for a better hotel.
