I was there for two days and had a really nice stay. The room was pleasant, with a mountain view, and the food tasted good. Staff were friendly and helped whenever I needed something.

Woodbine was a lovely place to come back to after days out around Manali, and the stay was very reasonably priced. It’s a little outside town, so it stays quiet, while still being close enough to get to places we wanted to visit. We were there for six days in winter. Our corner room on the third floor had windows on two sides, with beautiful views of snow covered mountains and deodar trees. It was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean too, and hot water ran for a few hours in the morning and evening. It was very cold outside, but a portable heater was available for a reasonable extra charge. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty every time. Chef Mr. Atul Sharma made it, and we didn’t miss our usual South Indian food. They called when a meal was ready so we could eat it hot. Restaurant manager Mr. Ajay Bharathi checked our preferences and made sure we got what we wanted. The service felt personal, even on the days when there were hardly any other guests. Sunny bhai helped with everything, including coffee and milk at odd hours and flasks of hot water. At reception, Ms. Annu and Mr. Madan Lal were friendly and easy to approach. They coordinated with the rest of the hotel team whenever we needed help, whether we were inside or out. Thanks as well to the staff working behind the scenes whom we didn’t meet. Woodbine gave us a comfortable place to start each day and relax when we got back. It was a great base for our week in Manali.

Nothing about the rooms or views matched the pictures, and the bathroom smelled bad. There was no hot water, no proper drinking water, and no food despite the high charges. Service was poor, and even the dental kit felt cheap. You also had to pay extra to get an AC or heater. The experience was awful, not worth even one star.

We spent two days and two nights here. The hotel and staff were both very nice, and the food was delicious. Special thanks to Chef Atul Sharma and Mr. Ajay Bharti.

Everything was great for me and my family at Woodbine, from the rooms and views to the food and service. It’s the best place to stay in Manali.
