OYO 17359 Sagar Villa Cottage

Mr Monu and the chef made us delicious food, and even arranged a honeymoon cake and bed decoration. Everyone on staff was cooperative and well behaved. Hotel Sagar Villa Cottage was very good, and I'd choose it again if I visit.

We booked four rooms three nights ahead, but spent our first night at another hotel. When we came to sagar villa the next day, only three rooms were available. They gave us a different room, where the water heater and flush didn't work and only one light worked. There was no soap or towel.

The entrance isn't proper, and there isn't much professionalism or a proper kitchen. The kitchen doesn't open until 7:30, so if you're leaving at 6:00 for sightseeing at places like rohtang pass, you won't get breakfast. You can't even get tea, even if you're willing to pay. You may have booked ahead, but that still doesn't guarantee you'll get a room. They might give yours to another party. And expect to use the same towel for two or three days.

The hotel administration made the place feel safe, and the staff were friendly and professional. Room service came with polite, humble service. I had a good experience throughout my stay at Manali.
