OYO 4719 Hotel WhitePod Manali

The bathrooms hadn't been cleaned before we checked in, and the path from the main gate to reception was even worse than the road outside. I couldn't tell if it was meant to look that way or had simply been neglected. The road from the main road to the resort is outside the hotel's control, but that doesn't explain the state of the entrance path. The manager or owner was very rude to my family. When my sister asked to have the room cleaned, he started shouting. The food was terrible and staff behavior was very rude. There didn't seem to be hotel staff, just a 13- or 14-year-old boy and the owner's wife. It's also very far from Manali's main market and Mall Road. I would never recommend this hotel.

I got a notification after four years, so here's my note: Praven, the owner of white pod, was humble and guided and helped us throughout our stay. The Himalayan landscape is a reason to stay here, and the food is worth trying too.

The proprietor and his wife looked after all our needs, and the atmosphere felt wonderful and homely. Our group of 16, retired police officers and family members from Tamil Nadu, stayed here from June 16 to 19. The rooms were very clean and we had home-style food. We'd recommend the property to fellow travelers visiting Kullu Manali.

The duplex place has the amenities you need for a warm stay, with clean rooms and bathrooms. The location and views are fabulous. Mr. Praveen was especially humble, caring, and helpful, and made us feel at home. His hospitality was the best I've experienced. One word for the place: awesome.
