We left after the first night, even though we’d booked three rooms for two nights, because the rooms were so dirty and cold. The sheets were dirty, there was mold on the walls, and we had no towels, toiletries, or toilet roll. Heating was advertised, but there wasn’t any, and they wanted extra payment for it. We booked two nights under the hotel’s other name, MOON BLAZE, which had great reviews. The different name made the place hard to find. They asked for a 20% deposit online to confirm the booking. When we checked in and paid the rest, they had cancelled our Booking.com reservation. I’m not sure why. Avoid this, it’s a scam.

I spent three nights at Hotel Suraj Inn and had a quiet, comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, and Hadimba Devi Temple is pretty close by. For a budget stay, it was one of the best values I found.

The mountain views and location were lovely, and the staff were friendly. My room was comfortable, though cleanliness could have had a little more attention and room service could have been quicker. Still, a pleasant stay for the price.

Waking up to a view of snowy mountains was a real treat, especially at a reasonable price. The staff were kind and helpful too. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
