The manager was rude and sarcastic, and staff giggled when we raised problems instead of treating them seriously. Food took nearly two hours to arrive. The washrooms were the dirtiest I've seen, poorly maintained, and their doors had no locks. There was no courtesy toward customers. Very disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The restaurant food was manageable, though not very good, and the cooked food was kept in utensils that looked like they were from the 1980s. The building's exterior looks good, but the rooms are poor quality and weren't cleaned. Every time I refilled my bottle, something was floating in the water; I later learned they filled it from the tap, and the water was unhygienic. Service was horrible. For a so-called star hotel, nothing lived up to expectations except the price. A very bad experience. If half a star were an option, that's what I'd give.

We were a group of more than 14 people and booked several rooms. The property is near the temple on the Madurai - Rameswaram highway, but the whole place needs an upgrade, from the rooms and cafeteria to the manager and front desk staff. During our stay, the manager we dealt with behaved as if guests checking out became refugees and a threat when asking for basic necessities. In a sacred place like Rameswaram, hospitality should show in how guests are handled, especially in peak season when business is high. I hope the owner, not the managers, takes this seriously. The manager we met seemed better suited to acting school, and the front desk staff need basic etiquette, like welcoming guests, not laughing when they're asking for necessities, and providing complimentary water bottles.

The rooms and ladies' restroom were unhygienic, the room glass wasn't cleaned properly, and the beds were in bad condition. When we asked to let the ladies use a restroom, management was rude. They treated customers like trash, and the manager seemed to take requests as threats, putting on a strange act. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. It doesn't deserve even one star.
