You can actually get a good night’s sleep here, which is rare in Goa hostels. The place is quiet all night, and the beds are large and comfortable, with a good mattress. Peter, the owner, is calm and kind hearted. He checks that you’re alright and always greets you with a smile and good vibes. I’ll definitely come back.

No WiFi, no access to the swimming pool, and no room service. There are no facilities, the service is pathetic, and the staff are absolutely rude. It didn’t feel safe either. A roadside motel would be better. This place ruined our holiday and was a disgraceful waste of money and time. Please don’t come here.

With options for accommodation only, accommodation with breakfast, or all inclusive with five trips to Goa, there are a few ways to arrange a stay. The grounds at Gabriel Villa are great. It’s a comfortable, child friendly hotel and a real breath of fresh air amid dusty Goa.

The staff were nice, and it was clean and quiet. The beach is about a ten minute walk away, and you can rent a scooter. The address shown on Google is wrong, though. Please update it.
