Jogalekar Cottage in Awas, Alibag made a lovely family getaway. The hosts welcomed us warmly and were attentive without being intrusive. They were polite, helpful, and happy to accommodate special food preferences when asked. We especially enjoyed the fresh homemade meals, full of authentic flavor and served with care. The food was hygienic and excellent, which mattered a lot while travelling with family. The cottage is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, a welcome break from city life. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, and children had open green areas to play in safely. The calm, family-friendly atmosphere also worked well for elderly relatives. We had a memorable stay and would happily return. Jogalekar Cottage brings together comfortable rooms, natural surroundings, homely food, and warm hospitality, and we'd recommend it to families looking for a peaceful break in Alibag.

We liked it so much that we added half a day to our stay, then drove back because the service was that good. The team even took care of our two-year-old's food preferences, which made the trip easy, and we're hoping to visit again with our parents. Jogalekar Resort, Alibaug is surrounded by nature and close to the beach, about 15 minutes from the roro ferry. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the hospitality was top-notch. The veg and non-veg food was a real treat. Prices were reasonable too, so it didn't burn a hole in our pocket.

The resort is beautifully located close to the beach, with ample parking and well-developed surroundings, including the temple and grounds. Some food was enjoyable, especially the Modak, French fries, and vegetarian dishes. But our experience on Saturday was mixed overall, and the room and food issues were disappointing given the resort's reputation for cuisine. The Deluxe rooms were average for the price. The washroom water looked brownish, suggesting the treatment may not be adequate. Food quality was below expectations. The fish was fresh but over-fried and burnt; the lunch Gulab jamuns were hard inside, half-cooked, and tasted stale. Chicken sukha lacked masala and flavor, so we asked for a refund. The chicken and fish gravies also lacked taste. Breakfast wasn't much better. The idli batter didn't seem properly fermented, the egg bhurji was bland, and the coconut chutney and sambar were average. The resort has good infrastructure, but room upkeep, water quality, and consistent food taste need attention if it's to regain its earlier reputation.

The food was tasty and good quality, with unlimited servings, including fish fry, Modak, and other items. The rooms were decent and clean, and the pool was quite big and clean too. Nice vibe, and an easy walk to the beach.
