Getting to the town or beach takes a taxi or rickshaw, so transport is the main drawback. Otherwise, it worked well for our family stay. The resort is roughly midway between Mandwa Beach and Alibaug, and just a minute off the main Mandwa road after getting off the bus. It’s well maintained, with a lawn, swimming pool, and plenty of indoor games. The rooms are cozy, air-conditioned, and have solar-heated hot water. The food was exceptional and the staff were helpful.

The staff at Nirmal Resort were very polite and welcoming, which made the stay pleasant. The food was delicious, especially the vegetarian dishes, and it’s a real plus that they offer Jain food. A great pick for good hospitality and tasty vegetarian meals. Highly recommend.

The owner was wonderful and always ready to help travelers. The staff were well trained, polite, and helpful. There are amenities for both children and older guests all in one place. The rooms were nice, and the food was excellent.

Nirmal Cottages – Pure Veg Jain Resort, Alibaug was calm and simple, just right for families. The staff were helpful and polite, and the garden was beautifully maintained. Our room was clean and in good shape. The pure vegetarian food was delicious, homely, and hygienic. A good option if you want a peaceful, clean place that serves Jain-friendly food.
