Oyo 23602 Laxman Residency

At Laxman residency, the bedspread was torn and not very clean, and we could hear loud noise from neighboring rooms. The hotel bar also gave off a foul smell, and nobody had told us about it. We checked in around 9PM, then got a call quite early in the morning asking whether we’d called them, which was a disturbance. The next day, reception called at 10 and forced us to check out immediately, even though we hadn’t been told about that. I really don’t recommend this hotel in Bejai.

Really happy with the room. It was very clean, and the washroom was clean too. Good service as well.

I’ve stayed at many hotels, but never had such poor treatment from front desk staff. They could spoil the hotel’s name. The reception team was dismissive and unhelpful, with no interest in helping me check in. From the moment I arrived, they were very rude, and the main issue was how they spoke in front of my family. Basic courtesy and professionalism were missing. The owner should teach the staff how to behave with guests.

The room was clean and well maintained, with basic amenities, though there was no tea or coffee kettle. I chose this hotel for one night during my drive from Bangalore to Goa via Mangalore. Its location on the service road beside NH66 worked well for me. The smell from the bar and restaurant in the basement was the downside. I noticed it every time I used the elevator, which the servers also used to bring food and drinks to hotel guests.
