I've been coming here regularly for 15 years, and the services have kept improving over time. My stay from 17th-20th November 2024 was comfortable and pleasant, with clean, well-maintained, well-appointed rooms. The staff are especially friendly and courteous, and reception, restaurant, and housekeeping all provided commendable service. I also had an excellent experience at Ruchira Bar and Restaurant, and the thoughtful hospitality made the stay feel homely and memorable. A couple of things could be better: I missed having a morning newspaper, and room service was less convenient when there was no waiter replacement on the weekly holiday.

We only go to the restaurant, and I've known this place since I was a child. It was one of the few around back then, and now it feels like a classic, much like green park. They still do things the way they always have, following the idea that if it isn't broken, why fix it. That works for them. If you want the taste of the past and the same quality that's lasted over time, give it a visit.

On our first visit to the restaurant, we felt ignored by the staff and had to raise our hands to get their attention. We asked for a baby chair and were told they didn't have one, even though I could see one by the wall. I pointed it out, and the staff member brought it to our table. We also asked for pickle with the parathas, but paid the bill without ever getting it. I hope management sorts this out.

There's a nice view from the restaurant upstairs at Satya heera, and you can choose between A.C and non A.C seating. The menu covers Goan, Chinese, and North Indian food. The Goan thalis and cuisine are the best, with Chinese food next. Service is good and focused on the customer. Satya heera has both a hotel and a restaurant.
