The Villa Goa

The Villa Goa felt more intimate and charming than staying in a hotel, and we had a wonderful weekend there with friends a few weeks ago. We were ten people, and the two villas gave us plenty of room to stay comfortably. It’s a luxurious, beautifully restored Goan Portuguese villa, with a brilliant pool and charming antiques throughout. The staff were exceptionally kind and obliging without being intrusive. It’s centrally located in North Goa, close to some excellent restaurants, and makes an idyllic place to stay. I’d certainly recommend it.

After months of being locked down in an apartment, our stay at the Villa Goa was something else. My wife, son, and I went a couple of weeks ago with friends, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The classic architecture, modern amenities, and spotless rooms all worked beautifully. My son loved the huge pool, and so did I. Being close to a number of top-notch bars and restaurants was a big plus. We were already planning another trip as soon as we boarded the plane out of Goa.

I stayed here in September 2020, and the villa was fantastic. There’s lots of greenery, an awesome pool, and a cute courtyard as part of a lovely room layout. Restaurants and shops are close by, so the location is very convenient. The villa has recently been taken over by a new owner, and I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed. :)

The pool, surrounded by lush greenery, makes you want to stay there forever, and the staff were super helpful and kind the whole week. We stayed at the Villa Goa in September, and it was our most memorable experience in Goa. The villa is spacious, beautifully maintained, and has old-world charm alongside modern amenities. We can’t wait to return!
