At the beach bar, Rizwan, a local musician, sang and played guitar for guests. He was fab. The evening buffet was delicious, with local and national dishes made from locally grown and sourced produce. There were plenty of good options, including dosa and paratha cooked fresh for you. Some of the occasional international-style food was easy for me to skip, and I can forgive it. Maybe other places in India are just as good, but I met someone at the pool who's been here 15 times, and I understand the appeal. We were glad to stay here.

After two wonderful nights, I can see why some guests have been returning for more than 30 years. The massage I had was extraordinary, and the location, food, and accommodation were all great. The eco-friendly property is driven by a genuine Kerala experience. Staff were top notch and seemed to understand how to look after a tired traveler. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at CGH and are already looking forward to coming back. A few more activity options would make the experience even better, though we enjoyed the activities on offer. Our room was cozy and impeccably clean, and we loved the range of delicious food. The team welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived, with cheerful smiles and staff who consistently went out of their way to make us comfortable. Front-office staff made booking seamless and check-in smooth. Their clear attention to safety also gave us peace of mind.

The garden pool villa was fabulous and made our stay very enjoyable, and the 30-acre property is huge. Still, disappointing food and staff hospitality brought down the experience. There was no in-room dining or buggy service, so don't expect those five-star amenities. I also noticed staff welcoming foreign guests differently from local visitors, and that didn't feel good.
