Roshan Residency Matheran

The room was decent, but it wasn't the one shown to us, apparently because of an AC fault. Small cockroaches started appearing in the evening, and the hot water wasn't available at the times we had been told.

The room itself was okay, but little cockroaches were coming out all over. When we told the staff, they argued with us instead of helping. We paid a lot and got no proper service. The location felt very poor, like a slum area, with open drains and a bad environment. The pest control smell in the room made it hard to stay comfortably. Staff behavior was terrible, rude, and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Early on the day we stayed, the water supply stopped. We called the service number repeatedly, but nobody responded. At checkout, reception staff were rude and unprofessional when we tried to explain what had happened. One of them told us to “get out from here,” which was shocking and unacceptable. The room and service were far below what we expected. This was an extremely disappointing stay at Roshan Residency in Matheran, and the place isn't worth a single star. I'd suggest looking at other options for a Matheran trip.

A pocket-friendly place, close to the market, with good hygiene and courteous staff. Our Family Deluxe AC room had two queen beds and enough space for four people. There’s free Wi-Fi and a small TV, and only some rooms have A/C. No swimming pool, gym, or indoor games, so it’s really just a place to stay. There was no room service, hot water had fixed timings, and we weren't given any information about food.
