OYO 9135 Krishna Jungle Atithi Bhawan

We were charged ₹1650 for a room without even the basic amenities, which was completely unacceptable. There was no water bottle, towel, dental kit, soap, handwash, or other basic toiletries in the washroom. The AC hadn't worked since morning, there was no quilt or blanket, and the room had no landline to reach reception. We even had to use our own face wash to wash our hands. For all that, they charged a premium and provided zero service. We had originally booked a different hotel and had confirmation, but they cancelled it themselves and moved us to this substandard place after midnight. When we complained, they casually said, “We showed you the room.” Are guests supposed to check whether there's a water bottle or handwash? This was by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had, absolutely pathetic, like a run-down dharamshala, and frankly, even that would've been better. Extremely disappointing and not worth the money, 0 stars. We're planning to take this to the consumer forum, and I highly recommend others never book here. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration.

The attached restaurant serves really tasty food, and there’s also an Amul parlour for ice cream. My room and bathroom were clean, the room had a fresh smell, and the staff were cooperative. I’d read complaints about service, but I left at 7 am, before breakfast is served between 8-10 am, so I can’t speak to that. For a low price, I was happy with the stay.

Food arrived late, and its quality wasn’t up to the mark. The rooms had no towels, soap, or other amenities, room service was terrible, and the geyser didn’t provide satisfactory hot water. We also felt an electric shock when touching the water tap. The lift was out of order, which made things difficult for two elderly guests. At check-in, they demanded the full payment, despite our agreement to pay at checkout. Nothing went well from arrival to departure.

Really bad experience, please don’t book here. There was no Wi-Fi, and calls from the rooms weren’t answered. The washroom and TV, which needed a recharge, were problems too. When I raised it, they told me I had to complain first before they would do anything. I don’t know how OYO certified this place.
