Spree Hotel Meerut

Checkout took longer than it should have because of a payment check. We'd already paid, but were told to wait for confirmation from the check-in officer, who wasn't available then. The hotel could make payment verification work without relying on one staff member being there. That would make checkout smoother.

We held a corporate meeting here for 10 days, and the arrangements were poor throughout. The rooms weren't clean, the staff were rude, and the food was both unhygienic and very low quality. At lunch they weren't serving fresh food. It seemed like leftover wedding food was reheated and served. This hotel on Delhi road isn't suitable for professional meetings.

This was my third time staying at Spree Hotel. The first two visits went smoothly, so what happened during our Christmas stay of 3D/2N was a real disappointment. On the second night we ordered food and specifically asked for RO water, not packaged bottles. Even so, packaged water appeared on the bill at more than twice its printed MRP. When we asked them to fix the charge, the night staff said the bill had already been made and couldn't be changed. We didn't get the extra money back. They said they'd send a complimentary item instead, but nothing arrived. We called several times during the night, contacted dining and reception again in the morning, and went to reception ourselves. Still, no drinking water was provided all night or the next morning. One staff member on the night shift was rude, raised his voice, and spoke unprofessionally. Since this was late at night, I felt unsafe and uncomfortable as a woman. We'd tipped staff after every meal, but the service and behavior were still unacceptable. The overcharge, lack of basic drinking water, refusal to refund, and aggressive, drunken behavior from night staff point to poor training and weak oversight. I'm considering filing a complaint through the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) portal. Management needs to address billing practices, staff conduct, and guest safety at night.

The event hall wasn't clean enough, and the seating was in a mess. Staff were unprofessional and the event wasn't managed on time. Lighting, sound, and cleanliness all fell short. The service was disappointing for the price, and I wouldn't recommend this party hall for an event.
