We spent New year 2026 at Hill stay cottage and loved how close it was to nature. The balcony view and spacious rooms were especially nice, and everything was neat and clean. The staff were attentive and made us feel welcome. Breakfast had plenty of variety and tasted good. We didn't bother finding out about Wi-Fi because we were lost in nature. It's a very good, budget-friendly home stay for nature lovers. Thanks to Owner vivek, Sir was kind and helpful.
Basic rooms, but the location and views are stunning, and Tadiandamol Trek and Nalknad Palace ruins are conveniently close. Service was good, the food tasty, parking ample, and the price reasonable. If you're fine with modest rooms, it's a peaceful stay and good value.
The rooms get one star from me, but everything else gets a solid five. I returned even knowing the rooms weren't great because I liked the vibe, peaceful setting, food, and calming, laid-back feel. It's one of the best weekend breaks for clearing your head. If you're going, try to book all or most of the rooms, either with a group or when it's less busy, so you can enjoy the space without having to share it.
Good location, lovely view, and the place was kept neat. We had good food and a very good experience.
