OYO 10891 Hotel Starwood

I travel often and am used to the occasional customer service problem, but this was the worst hotel stay I’ve had. The staff were arrogant and unwelcoming, and threatened to throw out our belongings when we asked for things they were meant to provide. During our three days there, housekeeping never cleaned the room or changed the bedsheets, even after repeated requests. I also found a used condom under the sheets, which staff apparently treated as normal and blamed on no one. The public toilets seemed cleaner than what the hotel offered. OYO should regulate its hotel associations and the promises it makes based on its reputation with other well-known hotels. This place was a shame, and I wish I could give it a negative rating and shut it down to spare future guests the traumatic experience I had.

There were no towels or toiletries, and the comforter covers looked old and worn. The bedsheets were dirty, the toilet wasn’t very clean, and the rooms were shabby. I gave it two stars because the owner understood our complaint and had the bedsheets and comforters replaced, then got the room and bathroom cleaned after we said we couldn’t even step inside in that condition. It wasn’t what I expected from a hotel.

There wasn’t a room service person available, and I had to get water myself from a lower floor because there was no water in my room. All the blankets were wet, so I used the spare personal blanket my wife had packed. It was the worst hotel stay of my life. Avoid it if you want a peaceful stay.

The manager and staff were cool, and there is a lift, but the basics were a mess. The washroom flush didn’t work and the jet had no water. The quilt smelled, and the linen was burnt at the sides. Food choices are almost nonexistent, with only Sandhu dhaba, an AC Dhaba, nearby. I wouldn’t recommend this OYO property for a booking costing INR1000.
