La Paulo's Beach Resort

Don't book here. The staff were rude, uneducated, and full of attitude. The cottages felt like storage rooms, and they were dirty and smelly.

We had a blast in the clean, well-maintained pool, and the service was excellent. The staff brought whatever we asked for, including a hair dryer. The location is handy for getting to many well-known places, and restaurants are close by. Rooms are pretty small, but big enough for one or two people. Hot water wasn't reliable, though. Only a few rooms seemed to have it, and for the price I felt breakfast should have been included.

The pool was refreshingly cool, and the staff were both friendly and very helpful. This is one of Goa's best resorts, with traditional Goan architecture, roomy comfortable rooms, and top-notch amenities.

Mr. Paulo is a great host and is always ready to help with requests. The staff are friendly and smiling, too. La Paulo's is tucked into Morjim, close to the beach, and works well if you want nightlife within walking distance or a quiet place to reflect. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is amazing, and the pool was clean and sparkling with lovely water. A must visit if you're in Goa.
