The staff were genuinely excellent: polite, supportive, and well-mannered. The property itself is good, and most bookings seem to come through MMT. But our four-night stay had some real downsides. We weren’t told ahead of time that renovations were underway. Drilling continued during the day, and the spa was closed. The location is very isolated in extreme North Goa. The beach is about a 15-minute walk, many water sports vendors wouldn’t pick us up there, and there’s no nearby market. Beachside restaurants shut around 9-10 PM, with little happening after that. It may suit someone looking for peace and quiet, but it’s not a good base for activities or nightlife. We were also there for our anniversary, and dinner was a letdown. At first the restaurant said everything on the menu was available, but when we ordered, they told us there were no tandoor items, so we chose plain chapati instead. The starters were average. Nearly 20 minutes after we ordered paneer for the main course, staff came back to say it wasn’t available. By then it was around 10 PM, and the isolated location left us with no other dining options. After some arguing, they promised to arrange paneer in 20 minutes. It took almost an hour, which was extremely frustrating and spoiled what should have been a special evening. Good property and excellent staff, but poor communication, limited food availability, renovations, and the remote location all affected our experience.

The hotel had a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Our room service and the cleanliness were well maintained. Such a lovely place to stay. We’ll definitely visit again!

The room and view were amazing, and the property is beautiful, but a couple of problems affected our stay. The lights above the bed were extremely bright during the day, with no switch to turn them off. Reception said they couldn’t be switched off, so we ended up using the main switch to turn them off. I couldn’t see how we were meant to rest with them on. The bigger disappointment was the hot water. There wasn’t any. I called reception several times and was repeatedly told to let the shower run for more than five minutes. I didn’t want to waste water, but tried anyway and it made no difference. They offered to move us to another room, but by then it was too late at night.

The room had a lizard in it, which was the worst part of our stay at Turtle Beach Resort, Goa. Even after we told the staff, there was no quick response or apology. They were slow to help when we asked for anything, and sometimes ignored us altogether. For the price, I expected a clean place and decent service. Instead, Turtle Beach Resort disappointed us on both. I wouldn’t recommend it if you care about hygiene or staff responding to guests.

Morjim beach is too far from the property. In the room, the cupboard and drawers weren’t properly provided or arranged, and there was nowhere suitable to hang clothes. The balcony floor was very dirty, covered in pigeon droppings. The room also wasn’t well maintained, and the air conditioner and refrigerator both had problems.
