Pleasure Beach Resort

We booked offline and got a room, but OYO still hasn't refunded us. Don't book or pay through OYO, since you may be denied a room when you arrive. Pleasure Beach also needs to update its location on Google Maps. Following the map sent us another 30 minutes out of our way, and since we arrived at 2AM there wasn't anyone on the road to ask.

One room was missing both a fan and a TV, and I couldn't close the curtain properly. They wouldn't give me the AC remote even after I asked, arguing that the room was already at a comfortable temperature. The stairs were dirty enough that you wouldn't want to get your shoes on them, and muddy floor stains remained even after I made them mop. I had to pressure and argue with them just to try to get the room cleaned. Another room had a dirty bathroom and a broken chair. Nothing looked like the photos. Is there a way to give negative stars? This is the worst place you can imagine staying in Goa. Look up resorts on YouTube and book somewhere better. Do yourself a favour and don't book here.

The staff were helpful, the pool was clean and good, and the beach is very close. Rooms were okay for the price. Breakfast didn't have much variety, and most of the guests were russian. Still, it's worth the price and is the best budget hotel in this range.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and would like to return. The rooms are spacious and have AC and hot water. Staff are very friendly and help sort out anything related to a holiday in Goa. You can rent a scooter or car, get a taxi, or arrange sightseeing trips here.
