The bathroom was horrendous, with cigarette ash on the toilet and a broken shooter. There were spider webs throughout the room, the AC didn’t work, and our room’s door was broken so the lock wouldn’t work. We arrived to an unattended reception, and when we called, the man who answered was rude and sarcastic. They served warm beer and said it was cool enough. Then they wanted us to move our vehicle into an already cramped space, even after we said we were about to head out and wouldn’t be able to get it out. That was the last straw for me. The whole place has a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. This doesn’t feel run by hoteliers, but by indecent, nasty men. I urge families and couples to skip it. The beach isn’t worth feeling that your life may be at risk from the people working here. Women and girls won’t feel comfortable. Village Susegat owes us our money back and our mental peace too. Thanks for nothing. I hope God helps you do better.

You can really hear the waves and feel the breeze here, which made it easy to switch off and recharge. The resort is beside the shore, with lovely ocean views, especially at sunrise and sunset. It felt quiet and peaceful compared with crowded tourist spots. Our room was comfortable and well maintained. A restful beachside break for couples, families, or solo travelers, and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for tranquility with a view.

The staff were extremely cooperative, but the facilities were so poor that this was a terrible stay and I wouldn’t recommend it. Once we got a room, the AC didn’t work and the fridge made a noise. After I complained, they moved us to a room that was slightly better. There was a 30-minute wait at check-in. I arrived at 12, check-in was meant to be at 1, and I didn’t enter a room until 1:40. There’s no room support after 5pm, no contact and no restaurant service. The rooms are also connected enough that you hear everything from the next room, even late at night.

We ended up canceling because the power kept failing and made it impossible to stay comfortably. For somewhere advertised as a peaceful getaway, the basic infrastructure is shockingly poor. The manager, who also runs the restaurant, was dismissive, arrogant, rude, and unprofessional, and wouldn’t help resolve things. The restaurant staff were just as hostile, as if guests asking for basic service were a burden. They then wasted our entire day by refusing to process the cancellation, keeping us waiting with vague replies. Only after repeated follow-ups with MakeMyTrip and constant pressure did we finally get approval. By then, the day was ruined. Village Susegat needs to improve its facilities, professionalism, and customer service. Hospitality clearly isn’t something the staff understand. I’d strongly advise travelers to avoid this property if they value their time, peace of mind, and respectful treatment. There are much better places where guests are welcomed and treated properly.

The staff were helpful, and we had a relaxing, satisfactory stay in a great beachfront location. The restaurant right by the beach had good food options and good service. Our room had an electric kettle, coffee kit, toiletries, and one water bottle. Breakfast was included, with poha, puri sabzi, boiled eggs, bread, butter and jam, tea, and coffee. The selection was limited and could have been better. There were several things to fix: frequent power cuts, including one lasting about 30 minutes; stained bed linen; old towels; and no hair dryer. The room divider wasn’t soundproof, so we could easily hear the next room. We couldn’t adjust the AC temperature with the remote, and there was no hot water. Some furniture, especially in the bathroom and main door, was broken and looked unpleasant as well as feeling unsafe. I hope the owner addresses these issues. Great location, but the property needs some serious repairs.
