Woke Hostel - Morjim

The rooms are bright, airy, spacious, and clean, and the lobby is nice with good music equipment. I was satisfied with what I paid, though several things could use better upkeep. Only the ground floor has a water filter, washrooms are clean but tiny, and there isn't a proper place to hang clothes on every floor. The pillows are too soft, although the mattress is comfortable. The pool needs maintenance, and the hostel could use another coat of fresh paint.

The place has a quaint feel and actually looked better in person than in the pictures. I liked my stay, and the manager was lovely to chat with. My four-bed dorm was part of a larger dorm, divided only by curtains. Since someone else was staying in the larger space, that setup worked for me. The beds themselves weren't very comfortable.

Coffee, the resident canine and caretaker, was part of what made Woke's warm hospitality so memorable. My friends and I stayed at Woke Hostels in Morjim over Christmas and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. It's one of the most welcoming places in Goa, and I'd recommend it to anyone hoping to have fun and maybe meet some new friends.

The big outdoor space and private pool were highlights, and the calm, easygoing atmosphere made the hostel feel like home to me. Supermarkets and the beach are both within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and the dorms meet standards. It's eco-friendly, very clean, and the supportive staff are ready to help when needed. A must-visit hostel in Morjim.
