Achal Resort

The staff were so good in their behaviour, and the resort provided good service and food. I had a nice experience and would recommend it again if I visit.

Breakfast, especially the buffet, was delicious, and the staff were always polite and ready to help. The rooms at Achal Resort were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a beautiful view. Surrounded by greenery, it had a peaceful feel. A calm, relaxing getaway for families or couples visiting Mount Abu. Highly recommended! 🌿🏞️

The way the staff handled a simple request summed up my stay. They passed me from one person to another, and after three people ignored the issue, a fourth finally gave me water while calling it a “big favor” because no one wanted to do such “dirty work.” There was a waste bin near the parking area that attracted monkeys, which then scattered garbage over cars. It felt careless and disrespectful. I stayed last week in a family room, and the whole experience was extremely disappointing. The room had a constant foul smell and was poorly maintained. When it rained, water leaked through the walls. The toilet ventilation was connected to other rooms’ toilets, which felt very unhygienic, and there was no exhaust fan. The open spaces added to the discomfort. Breakfast was very basic, below what I’d expect even at a 3-star resort. The property is poorly located, with monkeys all around causing a nuisance. The price is almost what you’d pay at a 5-star hotel in a metro city, but the amenities were worse than a local budget hotel. At check-in, they insisted on full payment in advance. It seemed they knew guests would be dissatisfied later, and after taking the money, they showed no interest in guest comfort. This was a poorly maintained low-budget hotel marketed as a resort. The service was pathetic, the rooms were unhygienic and the location was terrible. Please beware before booking.

The staff behaviour was very poor, and the hotel only allowed four people for the four rooms I booked. Very bad experience. I’ll never go to this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend it.
