The food was a real highlight, and the staff were helpful throughout, which made the stay more enjoyable. There’s plenty of nature around the place, so it’s nice for morning walks. I loved how quiet and peaceful it was for a couple of days away in Mount Abu, and I’d recommend it.
The food was fantastic, and I thought this place was better than Bikaner Palace. Rooms are nicely furnished and have a royal feel, so it’s worth considering if you’re visiting Abu with family or friends. One thing to keep in mind: staying here only makes sense if you’re a group of 15-25 people.
The rooms are spacious and well looked after. My husband and I stayed for three nights in April 2014 and felt like royalty. I’ve been visiting Mount Abu every year since I was a kid, and this was the first property I liked enough to feel compelled to review, even if I’m very late writing this.
The cook has real talent, and the service staff work hard to match the regal feel of the place. It’s a converted bungalow with just six private accommodations, and the rooms, foyers, bathrooms, and private verandas are all very spacious, larger than a standard 3* room. I’m planning to book the whole bungalow and invite my siblings. Arjun Singh, keep the place shinning till I return!
Just to be clear, this is a homestay, not a hotel, so the amenities and setup are quite different from what you’d get at a hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the staff are generous and do their best to offer great hospitality. BHOMSINGH and THE CHEF took especially good care of us. My main concern is the lack of security. At night, if there’s an emergency, you’re left alone, which is a big challenge. I hope management sees this and arranges proper security for guests.
