This is a nice budget choice for parties or affordable weddings, and it's popular with locals for hosting them. The rooms have decent interiors and the room service is fine. It's on the Abu Road-Palanpur highway, about 10 kms from abu road.

The gardens were lovely, the food delicious, and both the staff and the very humble owner made us feel welcome. It really has a nature feel, and staying here was an amazing experience. I'd choose it every time I visit Mount Abu. Thank you for a great stay.

We had to take our hungry 3 year old elsewhere after waiting 20 minutes. At lunch, the order taker was rude from the start, said some menu items weren't available, and later told us to leave the food if we didn't like it. We ordered bhindi masala, Dum aloo, tawa roti, veg raita and chaanch, but the portions were unacceptable: the bhindi masala was about 1.5 servings, and the Dum aloo had just 2 pieces of potato. The plastic crockery was really dirty, so we had to send many plates and bowls back. He acted as if serving us was a favor. We've had food issues before, but restaurant staff usually acknowledge and accept mistakes. We were a family of 5, including a little one, and stopped because the restaurant was right on the highway and we were all hungry. The toilet was filthy, with fungii, and when we asked about it, he claimed it had been cleaned the previous day, though it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for months. We had a diabetic patient who needed the facilities. We asked to use another restroom, but he refused and said those were clean and we could use them. There was no supervisor or manager, just waiters running the whole place.

On 11th Nov., 2018, around 3:40pm, four of us stopped at Holiday Inn during our journey for tea, lunch, or snacks. Around 40 people were already having lunch and some tables were empty. When we asked the Restaurant Attendant about tea, he refused and pointed us across the highway to a tea stall. A few minutes later I politely asked what lunch items were available. He ignored us again, said ‘Yahaan kuch nahin hai and that’s all’, and showed us the door. We were taken aback and offended. We all are Officers in a Navarathna CPSU, but that doesn't matter. As we got up to leave, a friend advised him to be polite, gentle, and respectful. He repeated the same words and ushered us out. If they didn't want more visitors, they could have restricted entry at the gate with the Gate-man. The restaurant crew's rude, uncouthed, unrepentant behavior was completely uncalled for.
