The Malnad-style meals were the highlight, delicious and prepared and served with care. The view was breathtaking, with greenery and quiet surroundings that put us at ease. Ashuthosh and family were friendly, warm, and welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. This homestay felt like being in nature's lap, a peaceful retreat that left us with unforgettable memories. I highly recommend it.

The spacious rooms had tidy washrooms and a large balcony looking out over the coffee estates. We tried a variety of the famous Malnad dishes, and the homemade food was really tasty. The owners were friendly, and the ambience was amazing. It was a very relaxing trip.
There’s lots to enjoy here for a day out, including a separate dining area, bonfire, music, estate walk, small pond, and friendly canines for company. The coffee estate covers 25 acres and is an easy place to find, well connected by road in Mudigere near chikmagalur. The owners are also the caretakers and showed great hospitality. The food was great and the atmosphere lively. It felt like a home away from home amid a beautiful estate, and made for a fun outing from bangalore.
They take only a limited number of guests, which felt perfect in this covid time. It's a secure, green place to enjoy with your family, and the home-cooked meals are delicious. An amazing place to spend time together. Must visit!
The coffee plantation and small pond gave our group a lovely chance to stretch our legs and take in the greenery. There are several places to visit from the homestay, including Devaramanne, Gatikallu, and ballalarayanadurga fort. We visited during the Christmas phase in 2019, after getting the homestay recommended through travelmalnad, and it turned out to be a good choice. It's in Mudigere and easy to reach with GPS. The rooms were neat and clean and could comfortably fit a group of families. We were a family of four and were given two rooms, one for the men and one for the women. Hospitality was the best part. The food is prepared at the owner's home, not by a hired cook, and the local flavors were so good that, while eating, you might think your Mom had taken over the owner's kitchen. We were very satisfied with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea. The rooms overlook a spacious open area where even toddlers can get some independence from their parents. There's plenty of parking. Hot water is available 24/7 since it runs on solar. Be mindful of the trained dogs around. They mean no harm unless something you do makes them suspicious. I kept myself on my best behavior when they were nearby. Mr. Ramesh and his family were courteous and down to earth, including the younger generation. We left Mudigere with wonderful memories.
