The location is fantastic, and the service was quick. We were visiting from the US with two young kids, and the staff were accommodating, giving us a room away from noise from the restaurants downstairs. They also let our parents visit us at the hotel often and responded positively to everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The lack of windows made my room feel a little closed in, and it got very chilly. Breakfast was good, though I would have liked a few more options. Still, the housekeeping kept everything neat throughout my stay, and the rooms were clean and thoughtfully arranged for convenience. Praveen patiently explained the room types and made check-in smooth. The location is excellent for sightseeing, with the Gateway of India within walking distance. I had a very good experience at Gordon House Hotel, Mumbai, and would recommend it for the cleanliness, service, and location. I’d give it 4 out of 5.

The rooms are decent, but they cost too much. The location and staff are perfect. Just avoid the weekend: from Friday on, the bar on the 1st floor is unbearable. Unless you’re on the 4th floor with ear plugs, don’t expect to sleep before 1am.

The people are nice and the place is very clean. But there’s a night club on the first floor that they don’t mention, and you’ll hear it. On weekdays it closes at 0115 hrs. The wifi is terribly slow and unreliable, and it’s so open that there’s a good chance your VPN won’t work.

The 4th-floor suite I stayed in was honestly much better than the one I had at the Taj, and it cost a fraction of the price. Fantastic hotel, with great service.
