OYO 18543 The Olive Shine

We were leaving around 8 am and the receptionist or person in charge was still asleep. He just told us to leave the keys on the desk. Earlier, between 6 and 7:30 am on 30-03-26, there was no water. I kept asking him to switch on the motor, but he didn’t respond until three to five other guests joined me in asking. We ended up begging for water to start the day. That’s pathetic service.

OYO sent me here from a good hotel, so don’t fall for it. After taking payment, the manager stopped answering calls, and they didn’t seem to care about the guest at all. The geyser didn’t work, there was no hot water, and no TV was provided. Money first, guest second. I had a really bad experience and can’t recommend this hotel.

The AC didn’t work properly, and there was a water shortage in the apartment. The room and bathroom were dirty, and even after asking several times, we weren’t given towels or toiletries. The property is badly maintained, and there didn’t seem to be a manager who could help or take responsibility. Bhaskar, the staff member we dealt with, was rude to visitors and said he was the manager and handled everything when we asked for a manager’s contact. Olive Shine was a terrible stay. It’s frustrating to see it still listed on MakeMyTrip and Goibibo, where the portals are making brokerage money instead of taking it down.

We stayed last week, and the place felt unhygienic and badly looked after. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, the bedspreads were dirty, and the rooms clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. Definitely not worth the money.
