I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The pool is listed as an amenity, so I thought it was included, but they charged ₹300 per person to use it without giving proper notice. They only told us about the fee after we'd already used the pool. That felt misleading and unprofessional, and reflects very poor standards.

I paid a 2K advance for a stay at Sandesh Pride on 24th and 25th December. After a death in the family, I asked to cancel and get the money back. At first they said it wasn't refundable but could be used for a stay on another date. Two weeks later, when I called to arrange that stay, they refused to apply the advance. This felt highly unethical and fraudulent. Don't book directly by phone if you might need to cancel, because you may never get your money back. They also recently asked a friend of mine for more money even after taking an advance. Avoid staying here.

There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants nearby, and the place was nice to stay in overall. The rooms were great, with good amenities, and parking was adequate. Breakfast was complimentary and good. The main drawback is finding the building: it's in the same building as Sandesh Prince, but there are no signs, so it's easy to miss. The towels in the room were a bit old and could use attention.

At Sandesh Pride, Mysore, the food really let down our stay. Vegetarian choices were very limited, and the quality wasn't up to standard even among those options. I hope they take this feedback constructively and improve both the vegetarian selection and the food overall.

The staff were helpful, and the location is good, right in the city with the zoo and other tourist spots fairly close by. Rooms are small but nice. The food is expensive.
