Soho Boutique Hotel

We stayed three nights in spacious, clean rooms, with attentive staff and an easy check-in and check-out. The calm location was a plus, and the games room was fun for both kids and adults. Breakfast was delicious, though food refills could be faster. Waiting a long time for the dishes we wanted interrupted the pleasure of the meal. There wasn't much else to complain about, and I hope they'll address the refill delays. I'd recommend the place.

Parking in the basement was ample and convenient for us since we traveled by car, and the staff were always supportive. We spent four days at Soho Boutique Hotel with our child. The property isn't brand new, but it is kept very neat and clean. We ate at the Salt restaurant, where the food was consistently good. Cleanliness and avoiding insects matter a lot to my family because of allergies, and I was glad to find the rooms and shared areas well maintained, with no such issues. It was a comfortable stay, and I'd recommend it to families visiting Mysore.

The beds were very comfortable, the towels and linens were clean, and the furnishings felt new and elegant. The entrance looked great, the security staff were nice, and Lakshmi was friendly and helpful at breakfast. For the price, it was a decent enough, roughly 3.5-star experience. Still, there were some problems. Reception didn't answer when I called for help at 10 pm on the night of 1st Jan, and the restaurant wouldn't bring plates to the room even after I asked. The TV had no channels, there were fluid stains on the walls, and the rooms felt a bit stuffy. The AC shut off at night, so I had to get up and restart it four times each night. It also stopped bringing in fresh air, which left everyone in the room feeling suffocated. The water was only warm, not properly hot, and the bathroom tiles were so slippery I nearly fell twice in the shower.

Dinner from their Salt restaurant was excellent, and when we told reception about the worm inside the kettle, they responded right away and cleaned it. Still, it was a shock to discover it after boiling water for our one-year-old daughter. They need to maintain standards for a 3-star hotel. Breakfast was average.
