The rooms and setting are lovely, and the people seem good, but the way the place is run let us down badly. Service moved at a snail's pace. Lunch was good; breakfast was very average and took forever to prepare. At 5pm, the kids wanted to use the pool, but it wasn't very clean, there was no help and no towels. Mr. Anil said that couldn't be right because it had been clean in the morning. Then, around 11pm, we had a personal medical emergency. I called the front office and housekeeping repeatedly, but nobody answered. I went to reception and found it locked, with nobody at the desk or security. Ganesha, one of the employees who leaves there, helped us. It was frightening to think what might happen in a more serious emergency at a resort charging premium rates. The leadership and processes here are truly disappointing.

We were told there was a kids' playroom, but it wasn't there. The pool was dirty, the room had no dryer, and room service was poor. There also wasn't a separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian section. Often the staff didn't understand what we were asking, and they seemed to treat foreign guests differently, with preferential treatment. There were 10+ other bad experiences during our stay. If you want a peaceful visit, I'd suggest checking other properties. When you raise an issue, the response from their handle is automated and asks what the concern is instead of fixing it.

We ended up stressed and changing our plans at the last minute, and it completely spoiled the stay. The way Kishore spoke to me was rude and unprofessional, with no concern for us as guests. He kept saying, “talk to the booking app, I can’t do anything,” and made no effort to explain things politely or help. The dispute was over our Agoda reservation for 5 rooms. The resort said it covered only 5 people, despite standard occupancy being 2 persons per room. That limit had never been clearly highlighted during booking. Just before the stay, they suddenly asked for another ₹15,000 for the additional guests. A resort should treat people with basic respect and courtesy. Hospitality is about how guests are treated, not only the rooms. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially if respectful communication and a good guest experience matter to you.

Such a good spot for anyone wanting a quiet break among the greenery, streams and the pond with ducks. The property is 10/10 for resort living, and the food and hospitality were great overall. Special thanks to F&B manager Mr. MAHESH N for personally looking after our F&B hospitality. Food gets 7/10 from me. A few more non-veg choices at breakfast would bring it up to global standards. All-in-all, a perfect vacation.

The birthday dinner was a highlight. At our request, the team set up candlelight dinner amid the plantation, and my wife and I really cherished it. We also had tea and vada at the village-style coffee shop. Staff were attentive throughout, and Mr. Praveen deserves special thanks for making the stay so pleasant and memorable. We were in the Asian Village, with well-spaced cottages surrounded by greenery. Ours carried the village theme with a modern touch while keeping its heritage feel. It had a large LED TV, tablet, kettle and bathtub. Outside, we enjoyed the swing bed and private balcony in the cool breeze, and the artificial waterfall in front of our village was soothing to listen to. The resort covers 50 acres and is thoughtfully developed over nearly 30-35 acres. Buggies can pick you up and drop you at your room, which makes getting around easy. We were welcomed with live saxophone and tavil performances, a nice South Indian touch, and pineapple juice. There are two kitchens, and while the menu is limited right now, the F&B manager will try to handle special requests. We asked for spicy phulka, paneer Chettinad and Manchurian, and the food was satisfying and met our expectations. We spent some time in the pool, went cycling around the property, and had the breakfast buffet the next morning. There's a game room for indoor activities and equipment for outdoor games too. We loved the food, ambience and stay, and felt it was worth the price.
