Hotel JK Dharamshala

Even though we stayed just one night, this was one of my most disappointing hotel experiences. The food was so bad that most of us couldn't finish our meals. Whenever we asked questions, the staff and owner were dismissive and unresponsive, with no real hospitality. It felt as if guests were an inconvenience. We checked out early in the morning and nobody even mentioned breakfast.

The balcony view and lovely room made the stay especially relaxing. The chef deserves a mention too, every meal of the gourmet food was delicious. Mr. Amit patiently listened to our food preferences and made sure the dishes were prepared specially for us, which made it feel like home away from home. The whole hotel team was prompt and caring. Everyone was polite, attentive, and ready to help. We'd love to come back, and highly recommend it for comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality! 🌟

We weren't told anything about breakfast when we checked out, which says a lot about the poor management. The staff and owner were rude and unhelpful, barely responding when we asked questions. There was no warmth or service. The food was poor and almost inedible, and several other guests complained too. We only stayed one night, and that was more than enough.

The location is the one drawback, since it's far from the city centre and Mall road. The rooms are spacious, and the food was decent. Mr Amit's service was excellent. Overall, a decent stay.
