Those tea estates around Hotel Villa Camellia, Palampur make for such a serene setting, and the property itself was well maintained, balancing charm with comfort. We stayed two nights recently and already want to return. The food was a highlight, every meal delicious and thoughtfully served. From the moment we arrived, Anil Sir and his team offered hospitality that went above and beyond. It's been a long time since I've experienced service like that.

I drove about 1.5 hours from the hotel to visit the Bir-Billing paragliding site. The hotel sits in Palampur's peaceful tea estate, with lush gardens all around and breathtaking views. My stay was memorable, with a lovely mix of nature, comfort, and heritage. Staff were courteous, attentive, and ready to help, bringing a personal warmth and professionalism to the experience.

We spent four days here and didn't find the food especially impressive. It was average, not bad, but nothing great, and the prices felt high for what was offered. Cleanliness was the bigger concern. We never once saw anyone clean the balcony, and dust came into the room whenever we walked back in. The property has potential, but cleanliness and maintenance need serious attention.

The view from the back window was lovely, the food was delicious, and room service responded within seconds. Mastiff Villa Camellia has plenty going for it, but cleanliness let the room down. The toilet seat was loose, the sofas didn't look clean and I hesitated to sit on them, and the pillow covers looked spotted, so I had to ask for replacements. At ₹4500 per day, that was disappointing. It's not a small amount.

Tea gardens all around give Mastiff Hotel Palampur beautiful views and a fresh, peaceful feel. It's just outside Palampur, and a lovely spot if you enjoy being among the plantations. The rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable, and the service felt warm and attentive. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
