We were charged for checking in early, even though the booking site highlighted 24-hour check-in. Getting around also took some planning: the hotel is 3.2 km from Nagercoil station and 1 km in from the main road, so we needed autos. The lift only reaches the 3rd floor, while dining is on the 4th, and drinking water is available only downstairs on the ground floor. We stayed three nights as five adults and three kids in two Deluxe Family Rooms, paying ₹9,600. For that price it was good value. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a big mirror, wardrobe, kettle and tea, coffee, and milk sachets, plus a work desk with a universal laptop socket. The staff were excellent, polite, and ready to help. They let us back in whenever we locked the key card inside, printed our train ticket for free, and kept our luggage safe after checkout. Breakfast was decent, though the same each day.

We were happy with our choice. The staff were polite and decent, and the rooms were very clean and neat. It felt comfortable for families and women, and seemed a step above some lodge hotels. A nice, affordable place to stay.

We spent three days here with our family and 5 year old, and enjoyed the stay. Ramraj Regency has clean, decent rooms, good service, ample car parking, and is easy to reach. One of Nagercoil’s better budget stays. Thanks!

The room was peaceful, but the restaurant upstairs kept dragging furniture and rolling cylinders around at 11 pm, which disturbed my sleep. I saw cockroaches at night in Room no.317 during my two-day stay. The hotel is reasonably priced, but breakfast was horrible. I tried it one day and didn’t dare have it again. Never book breakfast here.
