The Nagpur Ashok

The Nagpur Ashok's Rooftop Restaurant is a great spot to visit with family or friends. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is excellent quality. Managers and servers are polite, and they'll help you choose from the wide menu. A great place to hang out with family!

The food and staff were good, but the service and support were poor, and I won't stay here again. We paid 5000-6000 per day, yet they couldn't fix basic problems: the sink in my room stayed clogged for both days, and they denied requests for bathroom or room supplies. The rooms were dirty and had no amenities. They claim to have a heated swimming pool, but they don't actually have one. Check-in took at least 30 minutes, despite the good-looking corridor. Valet parking was available, but they left the car on the road and only gave us a hint about where it was when we asked for our own car.

The poolside dinner was a highlight, especially the specialty dessert. My family and I enjoyed the food and had a great stay at The Nagpur Ashok, with excellent hospitality. Special thanks to the restaurant manager for looking after us so well and serving us promptly.

Our family sightseeing trip in Nagpur was spoiled by this hotel, and we're totally disappointed with the management. We booked two deluxe rooms for four nights and paid about Rs. 8000 per room. The hotel is very old-fashioned and poorly maintained, with dirty floors and bad smells in the hallways and rooms. They first gave us an Economy room that hadn't been cleaned and smelled awful, so we asked to move. The next room was at least okay, but even basic items like handwash, tissues, and a tea cup were missing. Housekeeping was poor and slow to respond. The hot water stopped the next day, so we went sightseeing without showering. It still hadn't been fixed when we returned that evening, and nobody gave a proper explanation or seemed to care. We had to insist on changing rooms, and changed rooms twice during our four-night stay. The rooftop restaurant also seemed old-fashioned, with dirty floors and utensils that weren't cleaned properly. The rooftop swimming pool was dirty too, as if it had never been cleaned.
