The prices felt fraudulent, and the service wasn't welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, with basic hospitality missing. Our room was below standard for cleanliness, with a dirty bathroom and dusty furniture. I'd advise Mr. Suraj, the resort manager, and Mr. John to focus on guest comfort and service along with aesthetics. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless management and guest service improve seriously. I expected more from Suvaasa – The Resort after seeing it online, but the stay was disappointing.

Getting to this location takes a skilled driver. Once here, though, the food is very nice and the service excellent. The staff were helpful and courteous, and Mr Rathore, who heads the property, personally looks after every guest. Nature lovers will find one of the best scenic views in the hills of Uttarakhand here. Highly recommended.

The location is well below the main Ramgarh road, and the place felt unhygienic and awful. Bottled water was given only at checkout, then they supposedly provided RO water in used mineral water bottles they'd picked out of the bins after other guests discarded them. The room I got was totally different from what was shown on the website. Manager Jeevan was rude and arrogant. Try to avoid this place.

Food was a major letdown: very expensive for its mediocre taste and quality, with few menu choices. The restaurant was dark and dingy, and there was no play area or meaningful kid-friendly setup, which made the stay less enjoyable for our children. Housekeeping was irregular, rooms weren't clean enough, and maintenance problems weren't fixed promptly. There was little management, and a few young local boys on staff were trying to serve guests. We left very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this resort, especially for families or anyone wanting value for money.

We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights, and this has been one of our worst booking decisions. I'm writing this while still at the resort. The rooms don't look like the website pictures, and they're hot and stuffy. Even during rain, the table fan couldn't circulate the air properly. I can't imagine staying in them on a sunny day. The beds are small: one room had two single beds pushed together and presented as a king, while the others had queen beds, not king beds. Bathrooms in all 3 rooms stink badly. You need deodorant or room freshener to use them. There's no separate wet and dry area, so after a shower the whole bathroom is wet, and the glossy floor tiles get very slippery. It's roughly 6 kms downhill from Ramgarh Market, about 1500 feet below it. The website photo makes it look like a hilltop location, but it's not even at market level. There's no shop or anything nearby for almost 6 kms, and that stretch feels much longer because of the road. The food is very ordinary and insanely expensive, with Paneer dishes costing over Rs. 800/-. Quality is average, the restaurant feels too dark and dingy to sit in, and breakfast buffet choices are very limited. Staff are courteous, but they can't fix the infrastructure problems. Mr Jeevan is the manager, and I wouldn't rely on what he says. Before we booked, he told me the hotel was on a hilltop, but it's below Ramgarh Market level. Leisure Hotels only markets this place, it neither owns nor manages it. We booked expecting a minimum Leisure Hotels standard, and this place is spoiling their brand name. The only good spot is the lobby outside the rooms, where you can sit for a while, but it's unusable in hot weather. This has been a disappointing, frustrating holiday. I wouldn't recommend the property and would advise people to avoid it. This is my second review, focused on manager Jeevan. Is there a way to give less than 1 star? Whenever I complained, he argued unnecessarily. At breakfast I asked the chef for one sandwich, but Jeevan told him not to make it and argued that a sandwich couldn't be given. I only asked for cucumber in a grilled sandwich, nothing fancy, but he wouldn't budge. I've never seen anyone in hospitality with this kind of attitude. He could make the property shut down. Owners, replace him with a competent manager if you want to save the place.
