My family and I left Cedar Lodge, Ramgarh without staying there on July 3, 2025. We found the atmosphere so negative and the staff so rude that even my 5-year-old daughter felt uneasy and insisted we leave. We went to Balrampur House Hotel in Nainital instead, where we were welcomed warmly and respectfully. At the front desk, room availability had been confirmed, but the person there kept ignoring my questions while talking with other staff and acted indifferent. The rate quoted was nearly double what was listed online. When I politely asked why, I was curtly told to “book online” to get that price, even though the property looked completely empty. It made me question the hotel’s fairness and integrity. I’ve traveled extensively and stayed in hotels around the world, but I’ve never had such a bad hospitality experience. Cedar Lodge staff showed no basic courtesy, customer service, or professionalism. I strongly advise travelers who value respectful service and a pleasant stay to avoid this property. It was without doubt one of the worst hotel experiences of my life.

The rooms were very spacious, and the cleaning and housekeeping were excellent. The canteen was hygienic and the food was tasty. We also had amazing hospitality from the cooperative staff. Manager Ashok ji was especially humble and nice.

The staff were the best part, especially Ashok, the manager, Raju, and all the other guys. They were very, very supportive and well behaved. Cedar was great, with a great location and food, and our room and bathroom were neat and clean. Everything was perfect. I’ll definitely go again.

I only stayed for a day and really regret not booking more time. It was so quiet and peaceful up there, with fantastic service, food, and rooms. The Himalayan Range right outside the room was marvelous, and the endless mountain views and chilly breeze made it a delightful stay. This was the second part of my Aahma Journey, at Cedar Lodge by Aahma. I was stunned by its beauty as soon as I walked in. If you like snow, try visiting in December or January, when you’d definitely see a snowy landscape. It’s become one of the best places I’ve ever visited, and I totally recommend staying here 🏔️♥️

We were a large group, and every one of us felt looked after by the wonderful staff. Thanks to the manager, Mr.Rawal, the chef, the helpers and the talented Gardner. The garden was lovely, and it was such a joy to sit there with cup after cup of hot tea while looking at the mountains. It was a great experience.
