The cottages were well kept, and the staff were helpful, which made for a lovely break. It's a small, secluded resort in the Forest Park, surrounded by dense woods and birdsong. Getting in was less pleasant: there's no parking area, and the walkway below the road is uncomfortable. Food is a bit expensive, with nothing nearby as an alternative.

The rooms were clean and had a great view, and the staff were friendly, helpful and always on their toes. A comfortable place to stay if you love nature. I'd recommend it.

We had delicious food with a nice range of options, and the staff were warm and attentive. Our room looked out at the mountains, right in the middle of nature, and the fresh air and pleasant weather made the peaceful setting even better. It felt like a proper break from everyday life. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Kilbury Bird Sanctuary or looking for a quiet escape.

We loved waking up to birdsong, with the valley views often hidden under a soft layer of clouds. The setting is beautiful and makes it easy to relax and recharge. It's a tranquil escape from busy city life. The food was a delight, and the staff did more than expected to make us comfortable. We had a magical stay and can't wait to return to this peaceful little gem.
