Corbett Panorama Resort

The worst resort experience we've had. We visited on a weekend with our baby and my senior citizen parents. The sales representative gave a rosy picture over the phone and described the facilities as supposedly 4 star on Google, but the stay was shabby and badly maintained, and the team seemed to have no idea how to treat guests. Parking at the entrance fits only five or six cars. Everyone else has to park farther away and walk beside the forest, which felt unsafe in this remote area, especially after dark. At reception, instead of a greeting, a staff member insisted on upfront payment of the balance, pointing to a clause in the booking receipt that we'd missed. The sales representative hadn't mentioned it. We paid, then asked for a bill, but were told we'd get it only at checkout. During check-in, we also saw that same staff member spitting on the resort lawn in front of guests. Dinner the next night was much worse. We'd put our baby to sleep with my parents after they ate so we could have a quick meal and return. The baby started crying, and my wife had to leave her food halfway through. I asked the restaurant to send the rest of her plate to our room so that a breastfeeding mother wouldn't go hungry overnight. They bluntly refused, saying, “hume ye allowed nahi h!” My parents came down in the cold and asked too. The same staff member told us to carry the plate ourselves or wait until the buffet was over for them to “see.” I went to reception, where there was only a guard, and our calls to the listed numbers went unanswered that night. With nowhere else to get food nearby, we felt trapped and entirely at the mercy of the staff. My wife had to go back to the restaurant and eat quickly before leaving. We checked out the next morning, and we still hadn't seen the bill for the payment we'd made two days earlier. The phone sales pitch and photoshopped pictures online lured us here and spoiled our vacation. We'd seen similar reviews about the property and staff on Google, but overlooked them and paid for it. The whole experience was appalling.

Arti 😉 and the rest of the staff were very good, friendly, and helpful. The peaceful location and beautiful views made Panorama Resort, Kai a nice escape from the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were unlimited food options, and what we tried was decent. A calm, refreshing place for a nice stay.

We had a wonderful, fun stay, and all the facilities and amenities were great. The pool attached suite was especially nice. A big thank you to Nisha for the wonderful service.

The calm atmosphere and warm, helpful staff made this one of our best resort stays. Our room was comfortable and felt luxurious, and the property was kept in great shape. The food was excellent too. We’d definitely come back.
