Gazaari Greenz Resort

The place is badly maintained, and the trip from Nainital town takes 2.5 to 3 hours. Our rooms and bathrooms smelled bad, there was seepage, drainage problems, and hot water wasn’t available in every room. The pool looked like an insect pond and seemed not to have been cleaned for months. The bedsheets and tablecloths were dirty, and the old furniture creaked and looked close to falling apart. There were only 5-6 staff handling reception, room service, and the kitchen. At the restaurant we even had to ask for plates and spoons. The food felt like a mess, with just 3-4 items and no big buffet like you’d expect at a resort. It wasn’t worth the price, or even 1000 per day. We stayed on 27th and 28th May 2023. Don’t be fooled by the photos and fake positive reviews. This property should be blacklisted.

The mountain scenery is lovely, and there are plenty of ways to spend time, from table tennis, carrom, and chess to the outdoor pool or a walk on the green paths. The staff and owner were very humble and took good care of visitors. The food was really good, though they serve only vegetarian dishes.

It’s a quiet resort with spacious rooms and a mountain backdrop, a nice choice if you want to party late into the night. The food was above average, and the staff were courteous and helpful. There’s a badminton court with racquets, plus a swimming pool and a separate one for kids. Mobile coverage is very limited, which I like when I’m on vacation. The drive from Delhi can be hectic, but I felt the trip was worth it. It’s a good resort that won’t burn a hole in your pocket.

It’s a basic, quiet place for a short break from Delhi if you want to switch off somewhere secluded. But I wouldn’t pay to stay here. Maintenance could be better, insects get into the rooms, and the food is average. There’s nothing to keep you entertained.
